Our Story

We are an upscale casual new American restaurant in the heart of Kennett Square offering fresh food and beverages with a focus on share plates. Sweet Amelia’s prides ourselves on sourcing locally to support our farmers and community. Our menu changes monthly to reflect the changing seasons.

Chef’s Zack and Karessa met in culinary school in North Carolina and have since traveled the country and world together, learning about different cuisines and cultures. They moved to Chester County in 2021 and had their daughter Amelia (the namesake of the restaurant) in 2022. With a combined 20 years of industry experience they take pride and joy in their work and wanted to create a restaurant that was approachable, comfortable and still gave excellent service and food.
